Fittings for flexible metal conduit

Brass straight male fitting with fixed thread which can be used wherever there is a threaded hole, by screwing it directly, or a passing hole, by means of a locknut on the opposite side (see accessories on page 130). It is made up of nichel-plated brass. IP67 rating between conduit and fittings, certified according CEI EN 61386, is assured by a sealing ring that tightens on the conduit when you tighten nut. In this way system assures a perfect mechanical resistance to traction certified >1000N, to torsion and to vibrations. Electrical continuity is assured by an internal ferrule screwing on the internal metal structure of the conduit covering the whole edge of the flexible conduit to protect cable passage.

The “Jolly” fitting is an EURO 2000’S REGISTERED INVENTION PATENT N° 93A000893. It allows us to choose and install with a simple “click” the thread we need. Once mounted, it provides the same technical characteristics and use of a normal fitting with swivel thread (see pag. 69) except that it offers a wider range of threads which dramatically reduce matching problems during the installation process and also the inconvenient and expensive use of reducers. Manufactured in nickel-plated brass, the protection degree in compliance with IEC EN 61386 is IP67 and it is ensured by the sealing ring tightened on the conduit when you tighten the nut. Curved fitting with variable degree and swivel thread. This is an EURO 2000’s REGISTERED INVENTION PATENT n. MI 2004A000698 that can be used wherever there is a obliged passage of cables. The advantage of using the variable degree is the fact that you are not obliged to use the traditional 45° or 90°, that often do not represent the perfect curve. It can be used wherever there is a threaded hole, by screwing it directly or a passing hole by means of a locknut on the opposite side. (see our accessories on page 130). They are made up by nickel-plated brass and inox AISI 304, the degree of protection certified according to norms CEI EN 61386 between fitting and conduit is IP67 and it is assured by a sealing ring that tightens on the conduit when you tighten the nut, so that you can assure a perfect mechanical resistance to traction, torsion and vibration. Special fittings with fixed male thread for a double locking: the first one is a locking for standard metal recovered flexible conduits with reinforced clutch and the second one is a locking for covering conduit HJT made up by elastomer silicon fiberglass resistant to temperatures between -60°C and +260°C and until 800°C for 20 minutes. Fittings code AM are provided with standard ring blue colour (code AB). To make possible the connection of fittings with all our types of conduits are available special rings that have to be ordered separately (codes AX-AG-OT).
