Cable glands for electrical installations

Brass straight fixed thread cable gland with mechanical tightening, that assures a high resistance to traction and to every type of vibration in every type of uses. It is made of both body and nut in nickel plated brass, galvanized steel washer (zinc plated minimum 2nm) and thermosetting elastomer rubber that assures an IP68 rating. Available in METRIC ISO R68, GAS ISO 228 and PG in compliance with DIN 40430. All our nickel-plated brass fittings are checked through a corrosion test with salt spray according to norms UNI ISO 9227 and a corrosion test with humid atmosphere according to norms DIN 50017SK. These fittings do not show any sign of corrosion after the tests.

The “Jolly” cable gland is a REGISTERED INVENTION PATENT n° 93A000893. It allows you to choose and mount with a simple click the thread you need. Once mounted, it has the same usage and characteristics of a normal swivel cable gland (see page 89) except that it offers a wider range of threads which dramatically reduce matching problems during the installation process and also the inconvenient and expensive use of reducers. Locknut and body made of nickel-plated brass, washer in galvanized steel (with zinc minimum thickness 2 mm) and rubber in thermosetting elastomer. The protection degree certified according to IEC EN 61386 between fitting and the conduit is IP 68 and it ensures an excellent resistance to traction and to any movement in any context. Available in ISO METRIC R68, GAS ISO 228 and PG DIN 40430 thread versions. All our nickel-plated brass fittings are checked through a corrosion test with salt fog according to norms UNI ISO 9227 and a corrosion test with humid atmosphere according to norms DIN 50017SK. Male fixed thread cable gland with variable degree and mechanical tightening that assures an high resistance to traction and to every type of vibrations in every type of uses. Fitting prodived with variable degree is an EURO 2000’s INVENTION PATENT N. MI2004A000698, that can be used everywhere there is an obliged cables passing. The advantage of using the variable degree is the fact that you are not obliged to use standard 45° and 90° degree fi ttings that normally can’t do the ideal curving. Made of nickel plated brass and inox AISI 304, variable degree is made of stainless steel AISI 304, galvanized steel washer with minimum thickness 2nm and rubber in elastomer thermosetting that assures an IP68 rating. All our nickel-plated brass fi ttings are checked through a corrosion test with salt spray according to norms UNI ISO 9227 and a corrosion test with humid atmosphere according to norms DIN 50017SK. These fi ttings do not show any sign of corrosion after the tests.
