Fitting type AM DMC HJT L

Fitting with male thread for flexible metal conduit with silicone elastomer sheath in fiberglass. Special fittings with fixed male thread for a double locking: the first one is a locking for standard metal recovered flexible conduits with reinforced clutch and the second one is a locking for covering conduit HJT made up by elastomer silicon fiberglass resistant to temperatures between -60°C and +260°C and until 800°C for 20 minutes. It can be used wherever there is a threaded hole, by screwing it directly or a passing hole by means of a locknut on the opposite side. They are made of nickel-plated brass and the IP protection between fitting and conduit, certified according to norm EN IEC 61386, is IP67 and it is assured by seal ring that tightens on the conduit when you tighten the nut, so that you can assure a perfect mechanical resistance to traction, to torsion and to vibration. Instead the electrical continuity is assured by an internal ferrule screwing on the internal metal structure of the conduit and covering the whole edge of the flexible conduit to protect cable passage.

Quality controls

Salt Spray and Salt Fog Testing: UNI EN ISO 9227:2017 (NSS). Periodic tests on each production lot relating to traction at 1000 N and compression at 1250 N in accordance with the EN IEC 61386 standard on all closed systems consisting of conduits and fittings and cable gland fittings.
